You To Know
Visitors of Because I Wanted You To Know are uninvited guests at a dinner party in its wilder hours. When we arrive at the gallery the evening has already reached its final course, an explosively colorful climax of creams dripping down walls and translucent jellos. Each sculpture explores varying stages of paradise, from the euphoria of a new beginning to the sorrow of what will soon be over.
As intruders who don’t belong we are eavesdropping on secrets, quietly witnessing moments when people think they are alone, allowing us to reflect on our own intimate memories, which belong to us and no one else.
